RESTORATIVE DENTISTRY
Teeth once thought hopeless can now be saved through our state-of-the-art
restorative techniques.
Quality restorative dentistry requires a high degree of care, skill and
judgment. Our treatment program is tailored to your personal health needs.
When treatment is necessary, we will recommend only treatment which we would
want for ourselves or a member of our own family under similar
circumstances.
Dr. Stewart uses a high magnification dental microscope with a high intensity coaxial light to more precisely see his restorative dentistry. The high-power microscope raises restorative dentistry to a new level with magnifications up to 16 times actual size and increased, brighter lighting. This allows Dr. Stewart to:
 |
More precisely prepare tooth and crown margins |
 |
More precisely place and fit crowns, veneers, inlys and onlays and amaglam and composite fillings |
 |
More closely inspect final restorations and fit around soft tissue margins |
 |
Better detect more completely remove caries |
 |
Better detect and evaluate coronal and root fractures and abnormalities |
Perform soft tissue contouring and reshaping around teeth and implants with more exactness
Without the high magnification and excellent visualization provided by the dental operating microscope, there can often be errors of omission. Naked eye dentistry (no magnification) or typical loupes (low magnification) do not provide the excellent visualization that the dental operating microscope does.
Our office is always investing in new technology to make your dentistry the finest available.
"When I asked Dr. Stewart if what I wanted was possible, I was surprised
when he told me he could do it. I could never have imagined that I could
have what I have now."
